Your treatment journey – step by step
From the first consultation to the follow-up: how an aesthetic treatment works at our Wolfsburg practice – transparent, physician-led and free of surprises.
A good aesthetic treatment does not start with the needle, but with a conversation. In Wolfsburg we take the time to understand your wishes, advise you honestly on what is medically sensible, and make every step transparent. Here is what to expect with us.
Six steps to your treatment
Every step is physician-led – you only decide once you feel well informed.
-
Consultation & medical history
In a personal conversation we clarify your wishes, medical history, medication and any contraindications. We only recommend what is medically sensible – and will advise against treatment when appropriate. Realistic expectations matter more to us than a sold area.
-
Informed consent & individual plan
You receive clear information on the procedure, effect, longevity, possible side effects and risks. Together we define the areas and amount. Your written consent precedes every treatment – entirely without time pressure.
-
Preparation on the day
Where possible, please avoid blood thinners (only after medical consultation), alcohol and intense exercise for a few days beforehand to reduce bruising. On site, the skin is cleaned and disinfected; on request we apply a numbing cream.
-
The treatment
The injection itself usually takes only 15 to 30 minutes. Using fine needles or a blunt micro-cannula, we place precise, measured injections. Most patients find it well tolerable – a brief prick or feeling of pressure.
-
Right after – aftercare rules
You can usually go straight home or back to work. For about 24 hours: no intense exercise, no sauna or tanning beds, do not massage the treated area, and after botulinum toxin keep your head upright for a few hours. Mild swelling or redness usually subsides quickly.
-
Onset & follow-up appointment
Fillers work immediately; botulinum toxin develops over 3 to 14 days. On request we see you for a follow-up (about two weeks after botulinum toxin) to assess the result and fine-tune it if needed.
Why we show no before/after images
You may have come to this page looking for before/after photos. We deliberately show none – for a clear legal reason: in 2025 Germany’s Federal Court of Justice (BGH) ruled that injections of botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid count as "surgical plastic procedures". Advertising with a comparative depiction of appearance before and after treatment is therefore not permitted.
For us this is not a loss but a matter of professionalism. Every face is different: starting point, muscle activity, skin quality and dosing make every result individual. Someone else’s photo says nothing about how your result will look. Instead of advertising with images, we advise you personally and realistically – and show you in the consultation, on your own face, what is possible.
Legal basis: BGH, judgment of 31 July 2025, ref. I ZR 170/24; § 11 (1) sentence 3 no. 1 in conjunction with § 1 (1) no. 2 (c) HWG (German Therapeutic Products Advertising Act).
What "natural results" mean to us
Our aim is restraint: you should look like you – just more relaxed and rested, not "done". That is why we dose cautiously and prefer to work in small steps. How satisfied our patients are with this you can read independently in the reviews on our Google profile.
Results are individual and can vary depending on your starting point, muscle activity and dosing. You will receive a realistic assessment for your situation in a personal consultation.

Why don’t you show before/after images?
Since the 2025 BGH ruling (ref. I ZR 170/24), botulinum toxin and hyaluronic-acid treatments legally count as surgical procedures – before/after advertising is therefore not permitted under § 11 HWG. We comply with this and instead advise you personally and honestly, based on your own face.
How can I judge the quality of your work without photos?
More meaningful than someone else’s photos are the physician’s qualification, an honest consultation and independent reviews. In the consultation we show you on your own face what is realistic, and you can read other patients’ experiences on our Google profile.
How does my first appointment work?
Your first appointment is a consultation: we discuss your wishes, medical history and any contraindications, explain the procedure and risks, and develop an individual plan. Treatment only follows after sufficient information and your written consent – never under time pressure.
What should I keep in mind before and after treatment?
Beforehand, ideally avoid alcohol, intense exercise and – only after medical consultation – blood thinners for a few days to reduce bruising. Afterwards, for around 24 hours: no intense exercise, no sauna or tanning beds, do not massage the area, and after botulinum toxin keep your head upright for a few hours.
Do I get a follow-up appointment if I’m not satisfied?
Yes. After a botulinum toxin treatment we offer a follow-up after about two weeks on request, once the effect has fully developed. If a fine adjustment makes sense, we discuss it individually there. For medical reasons, guarantees of a specific result are not possible.
Are clinics in Germany still allowed to show before/after images at all?
Not for aesthetic injections such as botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid: in 2025 the BGH classed them as surgical plastic procedures, for which § 11 HWG prohibits the comparative before/after depiction. Reputable practices therefore deliberately refrain from it – factual information on the procedure, risks and prices remains permitted.
