What is the fat-dissolving injection?

What the fat-dissolving injection can and cannot do
The fat-dissolving injection is a method for small, localised fat pads – best studied and most often used on the double chin. It is expressly not a weight-loss method, not a replacement for liposuction and not a treatment for large areas. It also does not tighten loose skin.
Results develop slowly over several sessions and vary from person to person; there is no guarantee. Pronounced swelling is part of how it works. In the consultation we tell you honestly whether the method is realistic for your zone – or whether a different approach suits you better.
Legal status: off-label and “Lemon Bottle”
In Germany, injection lipolysis is largely an off-label procedure: there is no finished medicine approved for this use. The only product approved in the EU for fat treatment is deoxycholic acid – and exclusively for the double chin. The product “Lemon Bottle” has neither a medicine nor a medical-device approval in the EU.
