Hyaluronic-acid fillers

Lip enhancement with hyaluronic acid in Wolfsburg

Whether more contour, a little volume or balancing small asymmetries: at our Wolfsburg practice, physician Rafee El Kaddour models lips with hyaluronic acid conservatively and individually. The aim is harmonious, natural-looking lips that suit your face – no “overfilled” look.

How does a lip filler treatment work?

A gel of stabilised hyaluronic acid is placed into defined areas of the lip with a fine needle or blunt cannula. It binds water, shapes contour and volume and is slowly broken down by the body. The result is visible immediately and can be dissolved if needed.

Lips – Behandlung bei Premium Aesthetic Wolfsburg

We work sparingly: often 0.5 to 1 ml is enough to improve contour and definition without enlarging the lip. If you wish, we build volume gradually over several appointments – keeping the result controllable and natural.

Different techniques create different accents: fine contouring of the lip border, more volume in the body of the lip, or a subtle lift of the mouth corners. We discuss which technique suits you based on your lip shape and proportions.

Many modern hyaluronic gels already contain a local anaesthetic; we can also numb the lip. Swelling in the first few days is normal – the final result shows once it subsides.

Results & longevity

Results & longevity

The result is visible immediately; once swelling subsides (usually two to three days) the final shape appears. On the lips, hyaluronic acid lasts about 6 to 12 months depending on metabolism – tending to be shorter than in calmer areas such as the chin or jawline.

Results are individual and can vary depending on your starting point, muscle activity and dosing. You will receive a realistic assessment for your situation in a personal consultation.

Safety & guidance

Risks & side effects

Risks & side effects

  • Common and temporary: swelling, tenderness and small bruises – often a little more noticeable on the lips.
  • Occasionally: palpable unevenness, usually easy to smooth out.
  • Reactivation of lip herpes is possible; with a known tendency, preventive treatment may help – please mention it.
  • Very rare but serious: vascular occlusion. For this emergency we keep the antidote hyaluronidase and a protocol ready; hyaluronic acid is also dissolvable.

When should treatment be avoided?

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Active infection or inflammation in the lip and mouth area
  • Active or frequently recurring lip herpes – we treat only after it has fully cleared, and with antiviral prophylaxis if you are prone to it
  • Known allergy to hyaluronic acid or components of the gel
  • Tendency to lumpy/keloid scarring or an active autoimmune condition in an inflammatory phase – we weigh these up individually

Aftercare

  • Do not massage the lips firmly for 24 hours (unless instructed)
  • No intense sport, sauna or tanning for the first 24 hours
  • Drink enough; briefly avoid lipstick/make-up on the area
  • Cooling eases swelling; alcohol and blood thinners promote bruising

Who is it for?

Suitable if you want more contour, a little volume or more symmetry. Thin lips can be emphasised harmoniously; we advise against very pronounced enlargement when it does not fit your proportions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will the lips look natural afterwards?

With a sparing technique matched to your proportions, yes. If you wish, we build volume gradually over several appointments.

How long does lip filler last?

About 6 to 12 months on the lips, as they move a lot. It can then be refreshed.

Can the lips be dissolved again?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase if needed.

How long does the swelling last?

Usually two to three days. During that time the lips may look fuller than the final result.

What does lip filler cost in Wolfsburg?

Lips start from €149 (0.5 ml) or €249 (1 ml). The introductory appointment is free and without obligation.

Does lip filler hurt?

Most people find it well tolerable. Many hyaluronic gels already contain a local anaesthetic, and we can numb the lip beforehand as well. You feel brief pricks and a sensation of pressure.

What should I keep in mind after lip filler?

Do not massage the lips firmly for 24 hours, and avoid intense sport, sauna and tanning for the first 24 hours. Eating and drinking are fine, just not too hot on the first day. Briefly pause vigorous kissing and lipstick on the area.

Can the hyaluronic acid migrate or cause harmful long-term effects?

With correct technique and a suitable amount, the gel stays where it is placed. Hyaluronic acid is body-like and slowly broken down; it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed. “Migration” usually results from excessive amounts – which is why we deliberately dose conservatively.
